The weather this Saturday will be perfect for the Children Today 5k/10k Run/Walk Races. We hope everyone is as excited as we are!
As a way to make the Children Today races even more exciting and to encourage participation, FreeConferenceCall created an internal contest with the members of the Long Beach office. We were randomly divided into groups of 8-9 members and each team came up with clever team names, like Bridges of Mass Communication and Kenya Catch Me to name a few.
For all the competitive employees, there are four ways to win prizes:
- First employee to finish the 10K overall
- First employee to finish the 5K overall
- First team to get half their teammates to finish the race
- Team who donates the most to the event through our link
Exciting, right!? This is just an idea to get your company involved with fundraisers in your community. Not only do you support great causes but you get to know your co-workers better and simply have a great time outside of work. We hope we can encourage other companies to support causes like Children Today.
